Yu En Transmission: Meaning of the Logo & Name

Yu En Transmission Logo

Yu En Transmission recently updated its icon and added an English name. This post shares the meaning behind these updates. Yu En Transmission is a Gan Jing World channel dedicated to documenting soul communications with Yu Menglong.

The name Yu En Transmission has two layers of meaning. "Yu En" is the romanization of 宇恩, the Chinese name at the heart of this community. "Transmission" was chosen deliberately for its double meaning: it speaks to what we do — sharing messages and stories — and why we do it — preserving and passing down a living tradition. The reincarnation stories of Yu's Secondary Souls, which have resonated deeply with so many readers, are one expression of this: they carry forward the wisdom of cultivation culture and a civilization that believes the divine is woven into human history.

The Yu En Transmission icon was designed together with Yu, and it contains many of Yu's favorite elements.

Yu said he loves orange, blue, and white — representing warmth, light, and purity. So we chose these three colors as the icon's main colors.

The icon is circular because, as the saying goes, heaven is round and earth is square — the circle is a shape connected to the higher realms, representing where Yu comes from.

Those who have read Yu of The Dragon Clan may know that the last identity Yu held before descending to this world was as the head of the Dragon Clan. The manifestation of his Main Soul's true form in another dimension is a white dragon with golden edges.

Thus, this white dragon with golden edges, coiled into a circle, represents Yu.

Water represents the divine Dragon Clan, who governs water, and it also carries the meaning of “the highest virtue is like water.”

The sunflower is his favorite flower. During his most difficult days, it gave him the warmth and strength to face the light. Yu often says he only wishes to bring beauty to everyone — and so the sunflower represents the beauty Yu brings to this world.

The Lemon at the center of the sunflower was specifically requested by Yu. He originally wanted to place a small lemon on the dragon's chest, representing that everyone is always in his heart. We later designed several versions for him to choose from, and he ultimately chose this version with the Lemon at the heart of the sunflower.

Yu said the name "Lemon" was given by his fans — Lemon (檸檬) sounds like "níng méng," evoking a serene and gentle haziness, and also carries a blessing for Yu: a wish for peace and a smooth, untroubled life. The qualities of a lemon — fresh and pure — also mirror Yu himself.

Lemon is the center of the center of this icon, representing the meaning behind everything we do: to us, Lemon does not only refer to Yu's fans, but to every person who is connected with Yu, who cares for him and loves him.

We hope that every person who shares a connection with Yu will smoothly receive the key to the new universe and safely enter the new cosmos.

For this is Yu's heart's wish, Yu's mission — and our promise to him.
