I’m going crazy.
It’s too suffocating.
I’m not myself anymore.

I’m being hurt, so I end up hurting too.
Yesterday I changed my hairstyle, hoping it could take all the unhappiness away.
But I hope
the things at home will stop making me miserable, and my own problems will stop making me fall apart.
I really don’t want to make Mom suffer or hurt her.

I cry every day.
It’s no longer just ordinary, periodic depression.
Maybe I should just go crazy.
If I go crazy, I won’t be troubled anymore.
I hope no one forces me.
I want to put an end to all these meaningless things!!!
All these meaningless things!!!

I want to rest.
I want freedom.
I want to go home—to my grandmother’s home.

What had happened in his family? What had he done that would make his mother sad? Who was forcing and harming him? What was he being forced to do?

Ariel asked Yu Menglong, “That wasn’t your real grandmother, was it?”

Yu Menglong replied: “I don’t have a real grandmother—only a fake one. This post was published for me by a kind entertainment-industry staff member. She saw with her own eyes that I was suffering, but after she wrote and published it, she was fired.”
