Yu Menglong's Reply: About Taiwanese Celebrities

Lemon: Fans are concerned about which Taiwanese entertainers are currently in crisis. Is it the case that Taiwanese entertainers who have been developing their careers in China over a long period, or who frequently travel in and out of China, have basically all been brought under control?

Yu Menglong: Taiwanese entertainers who have been developing their careers in China over a long period, or who frequently travel in and out of China, have basically all been brought under the control of the CCP and the entertainment companies.

They are coerced by the domestic entertainment industry into handing over the passwords to their Weibo accounts, and designated staff from the domestic entertainment industry write posts on Weibo containing statements unfavorable to Taiwan.

Entertainers of Taiwanese nationality are even matched into arranged marriages, with their spouses keeping them under control. The domestic entertainment companies also assign bodyguards to follow them and monitor them long-term, depriving them of their freedom—they even have to submit their reasons for returning to Taiwan before being allowed to do so.

So when many people grow angry with Taiwanese entertainers who have gone to China to work, and say they have betrayed Taiwan, it is actually not accurate. In reality, they are all under tight monitoring by personnel dispatched by the CCP. They are not in command of themselves, and the words that come out of their mouths are not necessarily what they truly think in their hearts. But because they have already been brought under control, it is too late to regret.

Lemon: It can be searched online that Jay Chou and G.E.M. are Christians, but they have continued to be able to develop their careers in the domestic entertainment industry and to hold concerts. Does this mean that they too are controlled by the demonic hand of the CCP regime—is it possible they have been implanted with viruses? At the end of 2025, Jolin Tsai's concert at the Taipei Dome contained many elements symbolizing demons, Satan, and sacrificial offering, which caused controversy. May I ask, does Jolin Tsai worship Satan?

Yu Menglong: As soon as a Taiwanese entertainer enters China, they must come under the control of the CCP and the domestic entertainment industry, regardless of what faith they hold.

If the domestic entertainment industry tells you to go east, you must go east. If you go west, they have any number of ways to make you suffer.

They will frame you, persecute you, and force you to watch the entire process of entertainers from the domestic entertainment industry being abused to death—as a way of "killing the chicken to scare the monkeys."

At the very scene where I was persecuted to death, there were Taiwanese entertainers who had been forced to watch. I am not willing to mention their names, because they too are victims.

Lemon: I would like to ask Yu En or Yu—for those Taiwanese entertainers who are under threat, how can we help them so that they do not sink deeper and deeper in? Because there were entertainers I used to follow who had made controversial statements before, and at that time I sent them private messages, hoping they would not draw too close to China, and would hold fast to kindness. But after a year or two, it feels like their activities in China have grown even more intense, and their persona too has changed and no longer seems much like before. I no longer follow them now, but I still hope that in the future they can break free from the control of the CCP and obtain the key to the new universe. 🥺

Yu Menglong: Taiwanese entertainers in China have been placed under strict surveillance by the entertainment companies, who have taken away the passwords to their Weibo accounts and turned over their management to the personnel of the domestic entertainment industry. It is not that they are sinking deeper and deeper in—rather, once a Taiwanese entertainer enters China for work, they are placed under strict surveillance by the entertainment companies. Under strict surveillance, Taiwanese entertainers lose the right to choose. They can only be like marionettes on strings, saying the words the domestic entertainment industry permits them to say, singing the songs the domestic entertainment industry permits, and performing the roles the domestic entertainment industry permits.

It is very hard to find a way to help them directly. Once one becomes entangled with an entertainment company, one cannot break free—unless the company collapses.

All one can do is try one's best to advise those entertainers still in Taiwan that they must, by no means, go to China.

Lemon: Is Angela Chang in danger?

Yu Menglong: Until the Black Industrial Chain is completely cleansed away, no one is safe—including entertainers.
