Yu Menglong: Every person has essence energy within them, concentrated in the area near the pineal gland. Essence energy refers to the core energy source of the soul—the connection between the soul and the human body relies on essence energy. In other words, when a malevolent being feeds on someone's essence energy and drains it completely, that person's soul becomes severed from their physical body, and the body will turn vegetative or even die.
